SAM LIEBMANN
Tamo Junto

I founded Tamo Junto, a Brazilian expression meaning we’re in this together with the goal of collaborating with people from around the world to make films that spark meaningful dialogue on critical global and local issues, while inspiring social action to address them.
Using film to highlight and tackle important social challenges.
Our particular focus is on representing and collaborating with marginalised groups using a range of film-making processes, from direct reporting to complete participatory involvement.

Reaching isolated communities.
Creating targeted local impact screenings, such as the use of a solar-powered cinema kit in Sierra Leone, and the Brazil-wide tour of screenings for ‘More Earth Will Fall'.
Working with participants to get their voices heard.
Tamo Junto is about the power of making films with and not just about disenfranchised groups, shining a light on important issues through the perspective of those with the lived experience.
